Pencil on paper, 9" x 10"

Lots of news on the brain from the gulf oil spill, maybe you can tell.
Full view is interesting...there's more to come.

Thanks for looking,

Wonderful, I can't remember anything making me as angry as the gulf spill. I wasn't able to put those feelings into art but you did. Now they are still bent on destroying the Gulf with the deepest well ever. I keep thinking the earth herself will rise up and reduce her tormentors. Hope that doesn't sound too nuts.

Doesn't sound nuts, it's the reality. Thank you, when I draw, I allow whatever wants to come out to just happen. It's a kind of meditation for me sometimes. This time, because that's what was on my mind, it just came out.

If the contrast were turned up, this would probably catch the eye faster, yet it might almost ruin the fineness of it... either way, very beautiful...

Thank you :) Interesting, I appreciate the suggestion. I get different results depending on which device I'm seeing it on, the levels were adjusted originally just slightly darker, then I saw what it looked like on a friends laptop, it came across like a bad photocopy so I tilted her screen back a little and it looked better. It's set right between as close to the original as possible and better for the web.
